Active rows from the current session: excludes Royal Assent / Acts, defeated and withdrawn bills. Grouped by the Bills API stage field. Many private members’ bills sit at 2nd reading for long periods — that is how the API records them, not a claim they are scheduled this week.

Sorted by Bills API lastUpdate. A timestamp change can mean a stage move, a procedural update, or metadata refresh — check the official bill page for the narrative.

Filtered from the Commons Votes snapshot where the division title contains “Bill”. Where the title stem matches a current-session bill, we link that bill; unmatched rows still link to the division detail. Votes as of 13 Sept 2026.

• Bills from UK Parliament Bills API, session 40, as of 13 Sept 2026. Fields used: stage, lastUpdate, isAct, defeated, withdrawn, currentHouse.
• “Before Parliament” = not an Act / Royal Assent, not defeated, not withdrawn.
• Division ↔ bill links are title-stem matches only (e.g. “Health Bill: Report Stage…” → Health Bill). There is no Bills API foreign key in the votes file.
• Lookback window is 21 days before the bills as-of date (23 Aug 2026 → 13 Sept 2026). Older history remains on the bills and votes list pages.
• Official bill detail lives on bills.parliament.uk (linked from each row). There is no separate in-app bill detail route yet — the session list is at /parliament/bills.
